We all secretly agree that there are way too many rules to
handbags. If you use a leather one, you're supposed to match it
to your shoes to your belt, to any other leather you're
wearing. You can't wear a white one past Labor Day. And the bag
needs to match the occasion in its level of formality. I
personally like the style and designer tastes of Vera Bradley
Handbags. It would be great if there were a bag that was
valid for any event, that could be worn any time of year, and
was perfectly valid at any event you brought it to and that is
what Vera Bradley Handbags are.
But there actually is a bag like that. It's that colorful
pretty bag at the wedding or funeral that everyone says they
like, the one that stands out from the sea of black and gray.
It is a bag that can be washed in the laundry and will not get
ruined, and withstands trips to the beach and the ski ranch.
They are very durable and relatively inexpensive, especially
considering the fact that they last for practically an
eternity. Coming in virtually every shape, size and pretty
color known to woman, they could only be Vera Bradley
handbags.
Founded in 1982 by Vera Bradley's daughter, Barbara Bradley
Baekgaard and fellow designer Patricia Miller, the initial goal
of the Vera Bradley handbag company was to bring femininity to
practical bags and luggage. The franchise is arguably best
known for its vibrant cotton or microfiber, often florally
printed handbags; which range in size and shape from tiny
purses to large, heavy-duty duffel and tote bags. However, Vera
Bradley handbags are now accompanied by various accessories,
including casual footwear, sunglasses and cases, towels and
stationery products. The My Home line features an array of
carpets, and there is even a special Vera collection for
men.
Some Vera Bradley handbags are reversible and they come in
all sorts of colors and patterns. Most have a secure zip
closure and come in a range of shapes. The Stephanie tote is
fourteen inches long and built to fit as much of your stuff as
possible; it even has external pockets, comes in twenty
colorful prints plus four "sale prints" on VeraBradley.com, and
usually goes for $65-$70. The adorable Morgan comes in many of
the same colors as the Stephanie and while it costs about five
dollars less, its outside pockets and three inside sections
make Morgan designed with organization in mind; it comes in the
same twenty-four colors. A few of the larger bags include the
Small Duffel, the Weekender and the Super Tote, many of which
range from $75 to $95 and come in most of the same colors.
While Vera Bradley handbags are also sometimes also known
for having a high price tag, most Vera items are far less
expensive than many expect, with the majority of their products
falling well under the one-hundred dollar mark. Even if you
don't need a Vera Bradley handbag yourself, they make great
gifts for any occasion: everyone loves them, and a practical
gift is an awesome way to show that you put a good deal of
thought into what to give someone. An expectant mom who
received one at her baby shower could use her new Vera Bradley
handbag to carry all her new baby's amenities in one container
while traipsing from place to place, and a new bride would most
likely appreciate the bag while travelling on her
honeymoon!
